Brant Parsons
In July, 2003, Brant organized a 10-day drumming camp program called Drum
Camp. He designed the curriculum to educate, captivate and motivate drummers of different ages and levels to
explore the world of drums and drumming. Throughout this program, students will be given a chance to sharpen
their drumming knowledge, learn new techniques, ideas and build on their skills.
The camp includes recitals, retreats, rudimental theory, information sessions, student performances, drum tuning
and maintenance as well as various drumming styles, tips, tricks and techniques to help enhance any drummer's
knowledge of drums and drumming. In addition, special guests, educational booklets and lots of great give-a-ways.

"As a teacher, the most rewarding feeling is seeing a
student grow and achieve their goals. As an educator, it is my responsibility to provide students with pleasurable,
positive experiences, encouragement, knowledge and instill in them the love of music. I would love to give students
a chance to discover the power and passion of playing the drums as I have." |
Everyday, there is something new to learn and it is never too late to do so. Each day provides us with the
opportunity to do something we haven't done before and have always wanted to do. So open your mind to new
possibilities and discover something new and experience the Drum Camp and set your drum spirit free........
The numbers continue to grow..............

"What can I say, it was the most amazing drum filled ten days of my life I loved it. I can't wait
till next years Drum Camp!. Brant is the most coolest, funniest, constructive drum teacher i ever
had. anyways Drum Camp was a blast. My advice to any drummer is to never stop learning new grooves,
techniques or styles, if you are really into drumming you should really go to this camp theres
nothing like it. Thanks for everything Brant, Graham and Jennifer.

next year."
Paul Norris
"The Drum Camp was awesome! I learned a lot of new stuff, got some ideas on how to be creative, and
the prizes were pretty good too. If I ever have to write about my summer in school, this is
definitely going in somewhere. A nice experience that I will never forget...unless I get hit in the
head really hard. :("
Renee Gosse (Age 17)
"I just wanted to thank you for the amazing experience you have given me during this years Drum
Camp 2004. I have learned much more than I expected! I really enjoyed the fact that you and
Jennifer took the time to get to know each student personally and how you were understanding of
our level of experience. I have only been playing for 10 days at Camp and I must say I enjoyed
every minute, you inspired me(and many others) to go beyond the drum kit and make noise with
things that people wouldn't even imagine. I will continue to drum and hopefully see you next
year. Great thanks, Keep on rocking."
Luke Hayden (Age 11)
"Drum Camp 2004 really helped me learn many new things in drumming. The special guest, Curtis
Andrews, was a great at teaching us how to play the African drums. I enjoyed being at Drum Camp
and the prises were really cool to. Thanks."
Josh Quinlin (Age 12)
"Drum Camp 2004 was the best summer camp I ever went to. I learned so much stuff in 2 weeks it
was unbelivable. Learning all kinds of different types of music and drumming, the special guest
was great at teaching us how to play different kinds of percussion instruments, watching cool
drum videos and loads of free prises. There's no doubt I'm going next year and overall, it was a
phenomial time! Thanks Brant!"
Robert Parsons (Age 13)
"Drum Camp 2004 was very cool! I learned a lot in only two weeks. There were people who started
playing at the camp and in two weeks they sounded like they were playing for years.
Thanks"
Michael Lynch (Age 12)

Drum Camp was my first learning experience, and you made it really fun for me. It was great that
you introduced us to drummers we never even heard of , and to see how they use different styles
and techniques to play. Thanks for inspiring me to keep drumming."
Diane Lynch (Parent)
