Teaching Philosophy
Just as each student is different in their ages, personalities, backgrounds, perspectives and goals, so are their learning styles. By combining my experience in private teaching and teaching music in the school system, I offer appropriate instructional methods and materials to accommodate each student in their learning styles and needs for their lessons. It is important for each student to have personal and realistic goals and to practise on a regular basis in order to success and improve in their drumming. As a professional educator, I do my absolute best to provide each student with an optimal experience to maximize their learning while instilling in them the passion and love for music & drumming.

Lessons
Lessons are for all level of experience, beginners to advanced players are welcome. Drumming is obviously fun to be involved with as it evokes creativity and enjoyment in discovering new things about the instrument. Students will be able build confidence & understand rhythms, different aspects of drums and drumming, appreciate and experience different musical styles and in the process, learn more about themselves. Through lessons, students will be better equipped when playing various styles & be more prepared to face & play in band situation, rock band, school concert & jazz bands etc.

An efficient practice schedule & desire to do well is important to achieve success. There are no short cuts to success. The more time you invest into something the more you'll get out of it - Period.
